Job summary

Hatch seeks a Senior Environmental Consultant to strengthen our environmental services capability. You will be embedded into Engineering and EPCM projects, provide advice on environmental and permitting aspects, and lead technical delivery across the full lifecycle.

Based in Australia, Perth or Adelaide, you will mentor junior team members, engage with senior stakeholders, and contribute to business growth through client engagement and proposals.

Qualifications

• Experienced environmental professional with mining or heavy industry project delivery across full lifecycle.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory approvals and environmental aspects.
• Experience in consulting or engineering environments with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Be the lead environmental role on EPCM projects, providing senior guidance on environmental requirements for engineering and construction.
• Integrate into project management structures to provide progress and risk updates.
• Liaise with engineering disciplines and provide input to scopes.
• Apply regulatory and international environmental constraints to projects.
• Engage with clients and senior stakeholders, offering technical guidance on mega projects.
• Mentor and support junior team members; contribute to business growth through proposals.
