Amey Australia is seeking a senior environmental engineer to lead projects across water security, wastewater solutions, and sub-regional infrastructure. You will balance technical leadership with project ownership, guiding a capable team and staying close to delivery to ensure quality outcomes.

You will mentor engineers, manage budgets and timelines, and contribute to client relationships while driving practical environmental solutions aligned with NSW regulations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in environmental engineering.
• Experience delivering water, wastewater or sewage projects.
• Ability to manage projects end-to-end including budgets and timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to guide and mentor less experienced engineers.

Responsabilités

• Lead environmental engineering projects from planning through delivery.
• Provide technical direction and review/certify work.
• Manage timelines and budgets; engage stakeholders and clients.
• Support client relationships and future opportunities.
• Contribute to site investigations, impact assessments and environmental compliance.
