Job summary

An environmental consultancy in Western Australia is hiring a Senior Environmental Approvals Consultant to manage and execute environmental assessments and approvals.   • Part IV EP Act referrals, EIA assessments and associated management plans.
  • Part V EP Act works approvals and licensing, native vegetation clearing permit applications.
  • EPBC Act referrals and assessments.
  • Environmental offset strategies, calculations and management.
  • Mining proposals and mine closure planning.
  • Environmental due diligence, auditing, compliance, and strategic advice.

🎓 What You’ll Bring

The successful candidate will hold a relevant scientific degree in areas such as Environmental Science; Management; Law; and/or Environmental Planning with:

  • A minimum of 6+ years industry experience (preferably within WA).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and approvals processes under Commonwealth and State legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and nurturing mutually beneficial client relationships.
  • Previous experience in the consulting sector with the ability to manage your own projects.
  • Experience preparing a range of high-quality reports including impact assessments, monitoring and management plans.
