Qualifications

• Experience in environmental compliance during construction of major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NSW environmental legislation and planning approvals.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits and compliance monitoring on active sites.
• Ability to review environmental management plans and monitoring reports and provide technical feedback.
• Ability to work with contractors, engineers and project teams to manage environmental risks.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior environmental and sustainability support to the project during construction.
• Identify environmental risks and drive practical compliance outcomes.
• Conduct site inspections, compliance verifications and audits.
• Review contractor submissions and provide risk-based recommendations.
• Support implementation of approvals, plans and protection measures.
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Provide expert advice on environmental obligations to project teams.
• Prepare and contribute to environmental reporting and governance processes.
