Job summary

AECOM’s WA Environment Business has an exciting opportunity for an environmental professional to join our growing Impact Assessment and Permitting (IAP) team in Perth. The role offers relocation to Perth with hybrid work options and is open to Professional, Senior or Principal levels, depending on experience.

You will contribute to environmental impact assessments, approvals and management for major projects across Energy, Transport, Mining and Defence.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental impact assessment and approvals.
• Ability to prepare clear, structured environmental reports.
• Experience managing projects within consulting or government environments.
• Strong communication and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Tertiary qualification in environmental science, management or planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate environmental impact assessments and related docs.
• Identify environmental risks with multidisciplinary teams and integrate controls.
• Engage with clients, regulators and stakeholders for timely outcomes.
• Coordinate resources, programs, budgets and deliverables per level.
• Contribute to proposals and client relationships for practice growth.
• Collaborate with Perth and Australia-wide environmental teams; mentor junior staff.
