Job summary

AECOM in Perth, WA, is seeking an environmental professional to join our Impact Assessment and Permitting team, with relocation to Perth offered. You will contribute to environmental impact assessments, approvals and management for major projects, across Energy, Transport, Mining and Defence.

We welcome candidates at Professional, Senior or Principal level, with responsibilities tailored to experience and career goals, and a strong focus on collaboration and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental impact assessment, approvals and planning.
• Clear, accurate environmental reports and approval documents.
• Experience managing projects in consulting, government or industry.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborative team approach with sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate environmental impact assessments and approval docs.
• Identify environmental risks with multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage with clients, regulators and stakeholders for timely outcomes.
• Coordinate project activities, resources, budgets and deliverables.
• Contribute to proposals and client relationships in EIA practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Perth and broader ANZ environment practice.
• At senior levels, provide technical review, project leadership and mentoring.
