Job summary

Iluka Resources is seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to join the Perth corporate office. You will oversee environmental impact assessments to secure approvals for critical minerals projects in WA, NSW, Vic or SA, with travel to sites as needed.

You will provide strategic advice and manage consultants to deliver fit-for-purpose approvals strategy documents and high-quality documentation. The role offers cross-functional experience, opportunities for growth, and collaborative stakeholder

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role in mining or environment
• Strong knowledge of state and Commonwealth environmental legislation and processes
• Experience delivering EIS programs and approvals strategies
• Ability to manage time, budget and deliverables
• Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills essential
• Proficient with MS Office and ArcGIS

Responsibilities

• Scope approvals and prepare fit-for-purpose approval strategy documents
• Manage and deliver EIS programs and schedules
• Onboard and manage technical consultants
• Develop and track study schedules and field programs
• Provide environmental guidance to project and operational teams
• Support approvals delivery across project portfolio including interstate collaboration
