Job summary

Westgold Resources, a leading Western Australian gold producer, is seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor (Approvals) to join the Environment & Community team in Perth. You will develop, coordinate and manage environmental approvals across projects, working with operations, planning and regulators to ensure timely approvals and compliance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in an environmental role within mining, industry or government.
• Experience preparing environmental approvals for submission to regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of WA and Federal environmental legislation, including mining-related approvals frameworks.
• Exceptional technical writing and report preparation skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
• Sound analytical, problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.

Westgold Resources is a leading Australian gold producer with a strong portfolio of operations across Western Australia. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Advisor (Approvals) to join our Environment & Community team in Perth.

Reporting to the Principal Environmental Approvals, this role will play a critical part in securing and managing environmental approvals across the Westgold portfolio, ensuring projects and operational requirements are supported through robust approvals pathways and environmental compliance.

About the Role

As the Senior Environmental Advisor (Approvals), you will provide technical expertise and leadership in the development, coordination and management of environmental approvals across multiple projects and operations.

You will work closely with technical, operational and planning teams to identify approvals requirements, manage risks and ensure key environmental approvals are secured ahead of project delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and coordinating environmental impact assessments and approvals documentation

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
