Job summary

Torrens University Australia is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the integrated delivery of the Banner SaaS implementation and the accompanying transformation programme. This 12-month fixed-term role is based at the Surry Hills campus in Sydney with hybrid flexibility, and will establish governance, planning and delivery discipline across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex enterprise technology or SaaS transformation programmes.
• Direct Ellucian Banner experience is highly desirable.
• Strong governance, risk, dependency and change management skills.
• Experience coordinating system integration, data migration and testing.
• Experience managing implementation partners and vendors.
• Ability to influence executives and cross-functional teams.
• Certification in project/programme management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead foundational platform / programme plan with milestones and critical path activities.
• Align delivery with university priorities, expected benefits and portfolio outcomes.
• Establish governance, executive reporting and escalation processes.
• Coordinate multi-workstream functions (technical, data, testing, change).
• Manage scope, requirements, risks, issues, dependencies and change control.
• Act as primary day-to-day contact for partners, system integrators and vendors.
• Monitor vendor deliverables, performance, resourcing and escalations.
• Coordinate migration, technical readiness and dependencies across the digital ecosystem.
• Lead testing, cutover and operational-readiness planning.
• Support compliance, benefits realisation and capability uplift.
