Job summary

Harmony Australasia seeks a Superintendent - Engineering, Reliability and Planning to lead engineering systems, asset management and readiness for the Eva Copper Mine project in Queensland. Transition to site-based operations in 2027 with a long-term remit to drive asset performance and continuous improvement across the O&M lifecycle.

Based in Brisbane with travel to site, you will guide governance, MoC and maintenance planning, mentor multi-discipline teams, and partner with operations,

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from a recognised institution.
• Extensive mining or heavy industrial operation experience.
• Proven leadership of engineering, reliability and planning teams.
• Experience with MoC, asset management and governance.
• Experience with maintenance planning and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership and governance across process plant and site infrastructure.
• Drive operational readiness for transition from project delivery to operations.
• Lead reliability and asset management strategies to optimise performance.
• Develop and implement maintenance planning, scheduling and work management frameworks.
• Support commissioning, performance testing and ramp-up; ensure records are complete.
• Lead risk management, MoC processes and technical standards governance.
• Champion defect elimination and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with project teams, operations and contractors.
• Promote safety culture and disciplined execution.
