Job summary

Harmony Australasia seeks a Commercial Manager for the Eva Copper Mine in Queensland. Based at the Brisbane project office, you’ll establish site finance systems, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support readiness and long-term performance.

The role transitions to site operations, with DIDO/FIFO options from regional hubs. You’ll lead the commercial and finance team, implement governance, manage procurement and contracts, and provide strategic financial input to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business, Law or related commercial discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading Commercial and/or Finance teams within Mining or Resources.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial governance for mining operations.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost management and commercial analysis.
• Experience developing commercial frameworks, governance systems and reporting structures.

Responsibilities

• Establish all site commercial, finance and reporting systems to support operational readiness and long-term performance.
• Develop budgeting, forecasting, cost control, management accounting and financial reporting frameworks.
• Work with Harmony Australasia to implement governance, controls, reporting standards and processes.
• Develop site-based commercial and finance procedures, workflows and internal controls.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment and capability development of the commercial and finance team.
• Provide commercial and financial input into operational readiness planning and project decision-making.
• Lead procurement, contract administration and governance activities within delegated authority.
