Job summary

Harmony Australasia is seeking a Commercial Manager for the Eva Copper Mine in Queensland. Based at the Brisbane project office with a Monday–Friday roster during the project readiness phase, you will transition to site with DIDO/FIFO options from Mount Isa/Cloncurry or Brisbane/Townsville.

Hybrid options may apply. You will establish robust financial systems, governance and reporting, lead budgeting, forecasting and cost control, and provide commercial input to strategic decisions and asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related.
• Experience leading Commercial/Finance teams in Mining/Resources.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting skills.
• Experience with ore inventory valuation and waste deferral accounting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead site commercial, finance and reporting systems.
• Develop budgeting, forecasting, cost control and reporting frameworks.
• Work with Harmony Australasia to implement governance, financial controls, reporting standards and commercial processes.
• Develop site-based commercial and finance procedures, workflows and internal control systems.
• Support operational readiness activities by ensuring systems are fully functional before transitions.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and capability development of the commercial and finance team.
• Provide commercial and financial input into planning, risk assessments and project decisions.
• Establish procurement, contract administration and expenditure approval processes.
• Develop reporting frameworks to support management decision-making and performance monitoring.
• Support capital readiness activities and financial governance during project transition.
