  • Provide strategic leadership and oversee the management, development and execution of the Bushfire mitigation plan, Electricity Safety Management Scheme, Environmental and other safety obligations, providing strategic advice, guidance and contingency planning

You don’t need to tick every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:

  • Extensive demonstrated experience in technical/engineering roles within utilities with experience in asset management &/or operational management
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety outcomes
  • Understanding of asset management leading practices, frameworks and relevant standards
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and legislation
  • Ability to lead and coordinate failure and incident investigations
  • Knowledge of equipment and technologies with a focus on poles and conductor equipment on the electricity distribution network
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimise asset performance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Professional body membership: National Engineering Registration

  • Leave: more than typical personal leave and a generous 14 weeks of paid parental leave, with no minimum service
  • Community giving: a paid day to volunteer with our social impact partner, Foodbank, or for a cause that matters to you
  • Perks: we offer all the other perks you’ve come to expect like purchased leave, income protection insurance, novated leasing, corporate discounts, private health cover discounts and more
