Job summary

The Perth Mint is seeking a Senior Engineer Asset Integrity and Risk to join our Refinery Management Team. You will shape reliability, safety and long-term asset sustainability across refinery operations, collaborating with engineers, maintenance teams and leadership to optimize performance and investments.

Reporting to the General Manager Refinery, you will apply technical expertise to identify risks, drive improvements and deliver evidence-based recommendations for safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in refining, manufacturing or complex industrial environments.
• Knowledge of asset integrity and reliability engineering.
• Experience with failure mechanisms and root cause analysis.
• Proven ability to develop structured improvement plans from data.
• Strong communication of findings through reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist engineering guidance for asset reliability and risk management.
• Contribute to asset lifecycle planning, maintenance strategies and capital investment decisions.
• Identify risks and opportunities; support evidence-based decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve asset performance and safety.
