Job summary

The Perth Mint is seeking a Senior Engineer Asset Integrity and Risk to join the Refinery Management Team. You will help shape reliability, safety and long‑term asset sustainability, working with engineers, maintenance teams and operational personnel to guide asset strategy and investments.

Reporting to the General Manager Refinery, you will identify risks, perform analyses and provide practical, data-driven recommendations to improve asset performance and operational outcomes, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in refining, manufacturing or related industrial environments.
• Knowledge of asset integrity and reliability engineering and risk assessment methods (FMEA).
• Ability to analyse technical data and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for asset integrity and risk management across refinery assets.
• Support asset lifecycle planning, maintenance strategies and capital investment decisions.
• Identify improvement opportunities and provide evidence-based recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with engineers, maintenance teams and operations to improve reliability and safety.
