Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of major energy projects across wind, solar and storage in Australia. Based in Brisbane or Melbourne, you will guide multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships through mobilisation to completion.

You will oversee safety, scope, schedule, cost, quality and risk, while mentoring others and shaping delivery strategies for a growing energy portfolio.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading energy, power generation or major infrastructure projects through development and execution.
• Strong project management fundamentals across safety, scope, programme, cost, quality and risk.
• Experience working with owners, developers, EPC or D&C contractors, OEMs or engineering consultants.
• Confidence to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technical and commercial interfaces.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Experience developing proposals, budgets and schedules for project delivery.
• A practical, collaborative style and willingness to roll up your sleeves when a project needs it.
• Construction management or site delivery experience will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of major projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities to create value.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and align them around clear outcomes.
• Manage safety, scope, programme, cost, quality, commercial performance and risk.
• Work closely with site-based teams, OEMs and delivery partners.
• Lead proposals, budgets and delivery programmes for execution-phase work.
• Mentor team members and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.
