Job summary

GHD Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our DPS Energy team in Melbourne or Brisbane. You will lead end-to-end delivery of major energy projects from mobilisation to completion, coordinating owners, EPC/D&C contractors and multidisciplinary teams on wind, solar and storage initiatives.

You’ll build trusted client relationships, manage scope, schedule and cost, and mentor peers to foster a practical, high-performing delivery culture across Australia.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading energy, power generation or major infrastructure projects through development and execution.
• Strong project management fundamentals across safety, scope, programme, cost, quality and risk.
• Experience with owners, developers, EPC or D&C contractors, OEMs or engineering consultants.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex interfaces.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Experience developing proposals, budgets and schedules for project delivery.
• Practical, collaborative style and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Construction management or site delivery experience is highly regarded.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join GHD’s national Delivery Phase Services (DPS) Energy business, based in either our Melbourne or Brisbane office.

This is an opportunity to lead the delivery of major energy projects, not just advise from the sidelines. You’ll work closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to solve complex delivery challenges and turn opportunities into successful projects.

Your industry knowledge, client relationships and track record in delivering large-scale energy or infrastructure projects will also help us grow our project delivery business.

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or another relevant discipline.
• Construction management or site delivery experience will be highly regarded.
