Job summary

Calvary Care is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Specialist to own a broad ER workload across a national healthcare organisation. This hands-on role involves managing end-to-end employee relations, investigations, and disputes with a pragmatic, commercial focus.

The position is hybrid, with national exposure and travel; you’ll influence ER policy, templates and capability while supporting leaders and the People team to deliver consistent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience across employee relations matters, including complex cases.
• Experience managing employment claims and disputes.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and industrial frameworks.
• Ability to deliver pragmatic, commercially sound outcomes.
• Excellent written skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations matters end-to-end across a national healthcare organisation.
• Lead investigations, grievance and disciplinary processes.
• Handle performance, medical incapacity matters and related claims/disputes.
• Engage with unions and external advisers to progress matters.
• Develop and improve ER policies, templates and guidance.
• Collaborate with leaders and the People team to progress matters through processes.
