Job summary

Advanced Navigation is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead the electronic design for new products and updates across our product range. You will own the electronics from concept through mass production and work closely with software and mechanical teams.

You will design, simulate, and review complex circuits, ensuring manufacturability and testability while contributing to cross-disciplinary development across land, sea, and space applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering.
• 7+ years designing and developing complex electronics.
• Experience with PCB design using Altium Designer.
• Familiarity with 8-layer + rigid-flex PCBA.
• Excellent collaboration with software and mechanical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review PCB schematic designs and layouts using Altium Designer.
• Simulate and optimise circuits in LTSpice.
• Design and review analogue signal chain processing circuits (filters, amplifiers, etc.), digital signal circuits including high-speed interfaces
• Develop and review mixed signal processing chains (i.e. A-D and D-A)
• Design for Manufacture and Testability
• Collaborate closely with our Software team to ensure hardware designs meet software requirements
• Collaborate closely with our Mechanical team to ensure electronic design meets mechanical requirements
