Job summary

Advanced Navigation in Perth seeks a Senior Electronics Engineer for the Navigation Solutions team. You will own electronic design from concept to mass production, closely collaborating with software and mechanical teams to meet product requirements.

You will develop and review PCB schematic designs using Altium Designer, simulate circuits in LTSpice, and design high‑speed analogue/digital interfaces for rugged, aerospace-grade hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in designing and developing complex electronics.
• Proficient in 3D modeling with SolidWorks or similar.
• Experience with PCBA design, 8 layers+, rigid-flex, and high-speed communications (>100 MHz).
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex systems to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review PCB schematic designs and layouts using Altium Designer.
• Simulate and optimize circuits in LTSpice.
• Design analogue signal chains and high-speed digital interfaces.
• Develop and review mixed signal processing chains (A-D and D-A).
• Design for Manufacture and Testability.
• Collaborate with Software and Mechanical teams to meet requirements.
