Job summary

Downer Energy & Utilities in Brisbane seeks a Senior Project Manager to deliver electrical, communications and mechanical infrastructure projects across the full lifecycle. You will oversee design, construction, delivery and commissioning, ensuring timeliness, budget adherence and top-quality safety standards.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in complex project management within the Construction sector (Water) with strong leadership and risk-management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification specialised in Electrical sectors.
• Tertiary qualification in Project Management.
• Minimum 10 years of complex project management experience within the Construction sector specifically Water.
• Demonstrated experience in management of safety, quality and environmental issues.
• Management of HR and IR issues.
• Sub-contractor management experience.
• Financial management and reporting, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Production & Productivity reporting.
• Proven team management and leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience driving & achieving results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, construction, delivery and commissioning of Electrical, Communications and Mechanical infrastructure projects.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety.
• Drive performance, manage risks and ensure regulatory and organisational compliance.
• Lead project teams and stakeholders through the full lifecycle of projects.
