Job summary

Hatch is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our Project Delivery Group in Adelaide, supporting mining, metals, energy and infrastructure projects. You will deliver multidisciplinary electrical design solutions across asset lifecycles, translate client objectives into high‑quality engineering outcomes, and work with technical specialists to drive safe, sustainable and practical results.

You will lead detailed engineering, contribute to cost estimates and schedules, and provide on‑site

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
• CPEng (or working toward it) is highly desirable.
• Experience with electrical system studies (load flow, arc flash, protection grading).
• Proficiency with industry standard design tools (SKM PTW, ETAP, PowerCAD).

Responsibilities

• Develop discipline‑specific designs, calculations, studies and technical documentation across concept, feasibility, and detailed design stages.
• Lead and execute detailed engineering for procurement, supply, and construction activities.
• Support the development of capital cost estimates and project schedules.
• Provide discipline leadership within multi‑disciplinary project teams to deliver integrated engineering outcomes.
• Participate in and contribute to formal technical reviews and assurance processes.
• Offer on‑site technical support during construction, commissioning, and early operations.
