Job summary

Engineering Networks in Australia seeks an experienced Electrical Technical Operations Manager to lead planning, installation, commissioning and safety across the country. You will drive field operations, ensure rapid deployment readiness and mentor a technical team to achieve high performance.

The role requires an electrical trades background, proven management experience in heavy industrial settings, and the ability to develop safe work procedures.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade background with knowledge of power generation, diesel generators, BESS/batteries and heavy industrial environments.
• Previous operational management or leadership experience in the electrical industry, leading field teams.
• Experience developing safe work procedures, SWMS, JSA's, PPE and related safety/environmental procedures.
• Willingness to travel; site travel limited but expected from time to time.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to advise clients on technical issues.
• Honesty and reliability in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, and commission loadbanks, transformers and ancillary equipment at customer sites.
• Develop and maintain safety standards and procedures including SWMS and JSA.
• Ensure equipment is serviced, maintained and available for rapid deployment.
• Act as technical authority for troubleshooting, faults and repairs.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
• Mentor the technical team to build a high-performance culture.
