Job summary

NES Fircroft is hiring an Underground HV Electrician for a leading underground mining operation in Western Australia. You will join a high-performing maintenance team responsible for HV electrical infrastructure, with FIFO from Perth and a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• WA A Grade Electrical Licence is required.
• HV switching qualification and experience on HV networks.
• Minimum 3 years' post-trade maintenance in underground mining operations.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Team-oriented with commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair underground electrical/instrumentation equipment to maximise plant availability.
• Perform HV switching activities and support HV network reliability.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on fixed plant assets.
• Monitor equipment performance and raise maintenance notifications in SAP or similar systems.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe production outcomes.
