Job summary

Entura in Melbourne or Hobart is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Secondary Systems to lead design and delivery of EHV/HV protection and control implementations in substations and power stations, working with clients across the utility and renewable sectors.

You will mentor junior engineers, shape project delivery with the Grid and Power team, and ensure compliance with Australian and IEC standards. The role offers flexible work arrangements, travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years designing Secondary Systems for HV/EHV installations.
• Experience in brownfield and greenfield protection, control, metering, and SCADA.
• Knowledge of Australian and IEC standards; consultancy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secondary systems for substations and power plants.
• Provide client-facing engineering input and mentoring within the Grid and Power team.
• Contribute to project delivery and professional advisory services.
