  • Supporting internal project delivery excellence across technical verification, design governance, risk management, and commercial requirements.
  • Building client relationships as a trusted advisor, running workshops with client technical teams, external stakeholders and contractors.
  • Contributing to business development processes, developing technical methodologies, resourcing estimates and providing schedule inputs into proposals and presentations.
  • Supporting junior team members through planning and developing design and OE documentation, and providing quality reviews.
  • Working with the local team, manager and ANZ‑wide Generation and Storage team to support technical learning, mentoring and development of others.
  • Contributing technical expertise within AECOM’s ANZ‑wide Generation and Storage team and global technical specialist network.
  • Championing delivery excellence and governance by maintaining high standards of quality, safety, digital innovation and client satisfaction.
  • Leading by example with collaboration and operational efficiency, implementing change initiatives and fostering continuous improvement.
Qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage projects from concept to delivery, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Registration on the National Engineering Register in Australia (e.g., RPEV or RPEQ) required; Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) preferred.
  • Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain partnerships as a trusted advisor.
  • Commercial judgement, understanding design/build cost, risk and schedule considerations.
  • A passion for mentoring and developing the next generation of renewable engineering talent.
Benefits & Work Culture
  • Flexible work arrangements aligned with market and client‑facing role requirements.
  • Up to 6 weeks additional annual leave per year.
  • Volunteer and representation leave.
