Job summary

Chandler Macleod seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to support WA's Pinjar Power Station. You will provide technical and project support for gas turbine and distributed generation operations, lead investigations, and deliver practical solutions to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

The role covers engineering assignments from project management to design services, technical assessments, and cost estimates in a demanding power generation environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Approximately 5–7 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in power generation, utilities or heavy industry.
• Exposure to gas turbine generation assets is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering support across power generation and operations.
• Manage projects from concept through to completion.
• Prepare technical designs, reports, specs and cost estimates.
• Lead investigations and develop practical solutions.
• Provide advice on electrical plant performance and maintenance strategies.
• Support safe, reliable operation of gas turbines and distributed generation assets.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors and technical specialists.
