Job summary

Zenith Search is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a major renewable energy project in regional Western Australia, focusing on a 330kV terminal station and HV transmission infrastructure. You will coordinate electrical engineering activities, review designs, work with construction teams and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and safety requirements.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a 5:2 DIDO roster and a salary up to $200,000 p.a., plus

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and Chartered or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience with electrical infrastructure, HV substations or transmission projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical design, construction and commissioning requirements.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards, electrical regulations and safety requirements.
• Experience coordinating deliverables with multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee electrical engineering activities across the project.
• Review engineering designs, technical documentation, specifications and construction work packs.
• Work with construction teams, subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure deliverables comply with Australian Standards, project specs and safety requirements.
• Provide technical input into construction planning, procurement, scheduling and project execution.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and support milestone delivery.
• Maintain focus on safety, quality and overall project performance.
