Job summary
BAI Communications is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and specify electrical infrastructure supporting broadcast operations in Australia. The role includes project delivery from concept to commissioning, testing, and ensuring compliance with Australian standards.
The candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, hands-on experience with switchboards, UPS, generators, and protection systems, and familiarity with AutoCAD.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering aligned with professional requirements.
- Experience with site power, backups, commissioning, and fault-finding.
- Strong understanding of Australian standards (AS/NZS 3000).
- Hands-on experience with switchboards, UPS, generators, metering, protection systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and specify electrical infrastructure systems for broadcast operations.
- Support project delivery from concept to commissioning.
- Conduct testing, commissioning and acceptance per standards.
- Review designs for compliance with Australian standards and requirements.
- Support asset lifecycle strategies including maintenance and upgrades.
