Job summary

BAI Communications in Australia is seeking an Electronics Technician with RF experience to maintain transmission systems and related infrastructure to meet customer requirements. The role involves on-the-job training, on-call availability, and ensuring safety and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Electronics Technician with RF experience and maintenance of transmission equipment preferred.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Ability to liaise with others and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel away from home every other month.
• Pre-employment and routine medical assessment required to confirm fitness for duty.
• Annual criminal history check for Public Safety Network sites.

Responsibilities

• Responds to on-the-job training with team members in service restoration and maintenance of transmission systems.
• On-call when skills develop.
• Participates in installation, maintenance, and repair of broadcast and communication equipment.
• Performs Performance Testing under supervision to prove contract compliance.
• Completes reporting including Work Orders and fault tickets.
• Supports site facilities management and field operations as required.
