Job summary

ECG Engineering is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our project design team. You will coordinate design work on a major Africa-based Gold project, drawing on ECG’s extensive experience in large industrial assets and our global offices.

You will lead electrical teams, contribute to studies and reports from our Toronto and Manila offices, and help deliver through the full design cycle to commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience coordinating/d driving specialized electrical teams on front end greenfield and brownfield development projects with complex electrical scope.
• Experience in designing Gold extraction Cyanide Leaching plant; (a similar extractive process).
• Major project design experience throughout the design cycle.
• Experience / exposure to project delivery, driving a job, (not necessarily an entire project!).
• Understand the project development process for juniors/mid-tier miners.
• Provide specialized advice and guidance to client
• The ability to contribute / influence in a meeting; exercises good judgment on how to contribute, and collaborative behavior.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design on a major Africa-based Gold project.
• Join an established design team with occasional input on studies and reports from our Toronto office; coordinate works from Manila.
• Provide specialized advice and guidance to the client and contribute in meetings.
• Help deliver through the full design cycle to commissioning and handover.
