Job summary

WSP in Australia is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design across single and multi-disciplinary projects within the Building Services team in Sydney. You will manage small to mid-sized design packages and support larger programs to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.

You will maintain strong client relationships, apply best practices, and contribute to business growth and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering required.
• 7–10+ years’ experience on Australian building services projects.
• Experience delivering multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong client relationship management and project management skills.
• Solid knowledge of relevant standards and codes (AS/NZS 3000, NCC).

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design leadership on single and multi-disciplinary projects across a range of sectors.
• Lead small to medium-sized engineering design projects and support larger, more complex projects.
• Maintain clear communication with external clients, authorities and internal teams.
• Deliver best practices to save time and reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Build long-term client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Support strategic goals and growth initiatives for the business unit.
