WSP is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for building services in Sydney. You will guide single and multi-disciplinary projects, maintain effective client communication, and contribute to the growth of the Building Services team within a global firm.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will provide expertise in electrical design for both single and multi-disciplinary projects. You’ll lead small to medium-sized design packages within larger, complex programmes, ensuring best practice delivery while managing costs and timelines. You will also build strong client relationships and play a key role in developing our Building Services team, contributing to broader strategic goals and the continued growth of the business.
Our Sydney Building Services team is a well-established, collaborative group within WSP’s national Property and Buildings business. You’ll be joining a great mix of highly experienced, long-standing team members and fresh talent, creating a genuinely supportive and inclusive culture where successes are celebrated together.
The team is delivering a strong pipeline of Tier 1 projects across sectors including Transport, Defence, Data Centres, Commercial, Aviation, Government, and Health, offering plenty of variety and technical challenge. Backed by national capability, the Sydney team combines local connection with the scale and opportunity of a global business.
Provide electrical design leadership on both single and multi-disciplinary projects across a range of sectors.
Lead small to medium-sized engineering design projects and support larger, more complex projects to ensure effective and efficient delivery.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with external clients and authorities, as well as internal colleagues and managers, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Deliver best practices to achieve optimal outcomes for clients, focusing on saving time and reducing costs without compromising on quality.
Build solid, long-term relationships with clients, identifying new business development opportunities and understanding their evolving needs.
Contribute to the development and growth of the business unit by supporting strategic goals and initiatives aimed at enhancing overall success.
