Job summary

STACK Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Electrical Commissioning Manager for its Melbourne data centre team. You will oversee commissioning of mission-critical equipment, start-up, and testing across projects, ensuring safety and alignment with STACK standards and operational handover.

The role requires leadership across commissioning personnel and external consultants, thorough knowledge of electrical infrastructure, and the ability to manage design interfaces, testing regimes and risk

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical commissioning, factory testing, QA or technical delivery.
• Experience with critical electrical infrastructure (LV/MV switchboards, UPS, generators, protection and controls).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for planning and execution of commissioning activities.
• Manage commissioning activities across projects including interfaces with design, programme and commercial teams.
• Lead and coordinate commissioning personnel allocated to projects.
• Oversee CxA consultants to ensure scope, quality and programme obligations are met.
• Support preparation of CxA RFPs and procurement processes.
• Review commissioning programmes, identify risks, and propose mitigations.
• Develop and approve test scripts including IST and load-bank testing.
• Ensure handover readiness and proper documentation to operations.
