Job summary

Mission Critical Recruitment in Melbourne is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to lead and deliver major data centre commissioning projects. You will oversee end-to-end commissioning programs, coordinating testing, logistics and documentation across all project stages.

The role requires electrical qualifications and data centre experience, with sponsorship possible for WHV holders who already have Melbourne-based commissioning exposure or are arriving soon.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified (trade or tertiary).
• Data Centre experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience with electrical systems: power distribution, UPS, generators and control systems.
• Excellent documentation and communication; able to present complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Sponsorship available for Working Holiday Visa holders with data centre commissioning experience in Melbourne.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and run large-scale, technically complex commissioning programs in their entirety.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate and execute full life cycle Commissioning of data centre facilities.
• Involve in all stages of commissioning: from early design, commissioning scripts, witness testing and logistics.
