Job summary

SDN Paddington is seeking a Diploma-qualified Senior Educator to join on a permanent full-time basis, working 38 hours per week across five days. The role starts as a floating position across all rooms, with programming support and lunch cover, and may transition to a permanent room with fixed shifts.

Ideal candidates will have EYLF/NQS knowledge, child safety commitment and current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Experience in a similar role desired.
• Knowledge of EYLF and NQS desired.
• Child protection training and commitment to child safety required.
• Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR/Asthma/Anaphylaxis current.

Responsibilities

• Provide programming support, lunch cover and assistance with daily operations across rooms.
• Potential to transition into a permanent room with fixed shifts.
• Deliver engaging learning experiences aligned with EYLF and NQS.
• Drive observation, documentation and reflective practices to enhance learning outcomes.
• Develop meaningful relationships with children and families across the centre.
• Create safe, stimulating environments supporting all areas of development.
• Support routines and wellbeing practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
