Job summary

Bytewize IT Consulting in Victoria is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer / Specialist Technician to deliver high-level ICT support to the Department of Education through the Technical Support to Schools Program (TSSP). These are not entry-level roles, with contract, casual, or permanent options and a salary of 80,000–110,000 AUD pro-rata.

You will manage ICT infrastructure, support school networks, administer Windows and Linux servers, cloud services, and BYOD deployments, while

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of industry experience in IT support or a similar program.
• Experience within TSSP or education-sector ICT is highly regarded.
• Ability to operate independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure across Department of Education schools.
• Administer and support school networks and server environments.
• Provide ICT support in large, technology-driven learning environments.
• Collaborate with school leadership and deliver ICT professional development when required.
