Job summary

EBR Ever Better Recruitment is seeking a Senior Ecology Expert with 5+ years of BioBanking experience to join a leading environmental consultancy in Sydney. You will lead ecological assessments, supervise field surveys, and prepare impact statements for a range of projects.

The role involves managing projects, bidding for new work, and developing client relationships with government and private clients while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified ecologist with more than five years’ experience.
• Demonstrated botanical identification skills.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• 5+ years with BioBanking Accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Perform ecological assessments and natural resource management.
• Oversee environmental impact assessments, permitting, and approvals processes.
• Provide ecological management advice and oversight in relation to ecological legislation and environmental factors.
• Develop and maintain client relationships with government and private stakeholders.
• Manage and deliver projects on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
• Bid for and win new work.
