Job summary

Umwelt Pty Ltd in Perth is seeking experienced Senior Ecologists to join our growing WA team. Whether your expertise is in fauna ecology or botany, you'll deliver diverse, technically challenging projects across Western Australia while mentoring junior staff.

You will plan and deliver ecological assessments, lead field programs, prepare high quality technical reports and provide trusted advice to clients and regulators, contributing to Umwelt's growth and biodiversity outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Botany, Zoology or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in ecological consulting, environmental assessments and field surveys.
• Experience with fauna or flora ecology and field survey design.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver ecological assessments across WA.
• Lead field programs and prepare technical reports.
• Provide trusted advice to clients and mentor junior staff.
• Contribute to business growth and leadership development.
