Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced ecologist to conduct field-based surveys and lead ecological projects across WA. You will plan, execute and analyse biodiversity assessments, supporting multi-disciplinary tenders and client delivery.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in environmental science, ecology, botany or similar.
• 5+ years experience conducting and leading botanical surveys in WA.
• Proficiency with GIS desktop and data collection tools (ArcGIS, Fieldmaps).
• WA driving licence and ability to work outdoors on field programmes.
• Knowledge of Commonwealth and State environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field-based ecology surveys, including baseline surveys and monitoring.
• Lead ecological projects and support tenders and deliverables.
• Plan, deliver and analyze ecology surveys independently or with teams.
• Assist in managing technical performance and delivery of projects.
