Job summary

ASX is seeking a Senior Associate lawyer to join its Compliance team. You will supervise listed markets, advise listed entities, and manage complex governance and regulatory issues in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes judgement, collaboration, and strong stakeholder engagement. Ideal for a Senior Associate from a top-tier firm with ECM, public M&A or corporate advisory exposure, you will drive compliance, risk management and continuous improvement across ASX’s listed marketplace.

Qualifications

• Senior Associate lawyer with experience in ECM, public M&A or corporate advisory.
• Ability to analyse complex corporate structures, governance and transaction documents for compliance.
• Strong oral and written communication, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
• Ability to counsel, influence and find solutions meeting commercial objectives while ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
• Strong academic record.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with listed entities and their advisers.
• Advise and supervise a portfolio of listed entities, overseeing compliance with Listing Rules.
• Lead monitoring and enforcement actions and internal collaboration on disclosure, capital management, governance and integrity.
• Maintain processes for monitoring and enforcing ASX rules and lead improvements.
• Contribute as a senior leader to team culture, communication, and documentation.
• Learn new skills and collaborate with other teams within ASX Compliance.
