Job summary

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking an experienced Head of Supply Chain Planning to lead our enterprise planning, inventory and replenishment capability from our Brisbane base. This senior role shapes demand forecasting, supply planning and inventory investment across a large, complex distribution network.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience across supply chain planning, demand forecasting, inventory optimisation and replenishment.
• Experience leading planning, inventory or supply chain functions within large or complex organisations.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of working capital and inventory investment.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proven people leadership and capability development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning across supply planning, forecasting, inventory optimisation and replenishment.
• Develop people, processes and systems to strengthen enterprise planning capability.
• Develop enterprise planning and inventory strategies and execute IBP processes.
• Improve forecasting capability, accuracy and planning maturity.
• Balance customer service, cost, inventory and supply risk for the organisation.
• Provide executives with insights, scenario modelling and recommendations.
• Improve planning systems, reporting, analytics and digital capability.
• Partner with leaders across Operations, Finance, Commercial, Procurement and Caterpillar.
• Lead and develop high-performing planning and replenishment teams.
