Job summary

Hastings Deering, Brisbane-based Caterpillar dealer, is seeking a Head of Supply Chain Planning to lead enterprise planning, inventory and replenishment. This senior role shapes demand forecasting, inventory investments and service levels across a large distribution network, balancing capital, cost and risk.

You will drive improvements in planning capability, partnering with Operations, Finance, Commercial, Procurement and Caterpillar, and lead high-performing planning teams across the network.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience across supply chain planning, forecasting, inventory optimisation and replenishment.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate data into actionable decisions.
• Proven leadership and capability development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning function across supply planning, forecasting, inventory optimisation and replenishment.
• Develop people, processes and systems to strengthen enterprise planning capability.
• Provide executives with insights, scenario modelling and recommendations.
• Improve planning systems, reporting, analytics and digital capability.
• Partner with leaders across Operations, Finance, Commercial, Procurement and Caterpillar.
