Job summary

Torrens University Australia seeks an experienced Academic Registrar and Senior Director Academic Services to provide strategic leadership across the university's academic services ecosystem, including governance, planning and operations. You will oversee student records, progression, graduation and related systems throughout the student lifecycle.

The role requires senior leadership, strong regulatory knowledge and a proven ability to influence across portfolios, with a focus on data integrity

Qualifications

• Senior leader with extensive higher education, VET or dual‑sector experience across academic services, registry, governance, planning and operations.
• Experienced in academic planning, forecasting, timetabling, delivery readiness, systems, data and process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory environment and governance in Australian tertiary education.

Responsibilities

• Lead Academic Services by setting strategic priorities and performance expectations.
• Oversee academic governance, policy, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Manage records, results, completions and graduation processes across the student lifecycle.
• Ensure integrity and security of student information systems and data processing.
• Drive continuous improvement across systems and workflows.
