Job summary

Randstad in Sydney is seeking an experienced Digital Senior Project Manager to lead a six-month Enterprise Asset Management modernisation initiative, migrating core operations to MAS 9.x. You will own delivery and governance, coordinating cross-functional technical and vendor teams, budgets and schedules.

The role requires 10+ years in technology project management, strong business case writing, and prior Maximo MAS exposure. On-site three days a week at the Parramatta office.

Qualifications

Take the lead on a high impact digital transformation initiative with one of NSW's premier state infrastructure providers. We are seeking an experienced Digital Senior Project Manager to drive an enterprise level Asset Management uplift program, centered on migrating core operational capabilities to modern systems.

The Role In this 6 month contract role, you will take full delivery ownership of an essential Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) modernisation roadmap. You will lead cross functional technical and vendor teams, oversee budget and schedule performance, and guide project governance from business case finalisation through complex execution phases.

Key responsibilities:

• Direct end to end delivery of complex asset management digital projects within structured Prince2 frameworks.
• Own business case refinement, financial management, and board level stakeholder reporting.
• Build and manage high performing virtual teams, coordinating vendors, architects, subject matter experts, and business analysts.
• Ensure strict risk management, benefit realisation, and seamless business change adoption.

The Tech Stack & Environment

• Core operational platform: IBM Maximo (legacy 7.6 upgrading to MAS 9.x)
• Enterprise integrations: ERP platforms, GIS mapping systems, and field worker mobile tools
• Governance framework: Prince2 methodology, structured PMO controls, and digital delivery standards

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years of dedicated technology project management experience.
• Proven track record delivering large scale IBM Maximo projects, with direct exposure to Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9.x) upgrades highly regarded.
• Exceptional business case writing and financial tracking capability.
