Job summary

The ACT Government is seeking a Senior Content Officer to craft compelling stories and deliver high-quality digital communications to the Canberra community. You will join a multi-disciplinary content team responsible for social media, digital channels and print products, helping shape the government voice across channels.

You’ll work with colleagues across government, collaborate with Ministers’ offices and contribute to key campaigns and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing, developing and editing engaging content for multiple platforms including social media, online and e-newsletters.
• Ability to translate complex information into accessible and engaging written content.
• Eye for design and storytelling across formats with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create, publish and optimise engaging content for digital and social channels, while planning and scheduling.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across government to source, design and curate content for user needs.
• Monitor content performance to inform strategy, justify channel growth and demonstrate impact.
• Support emergency communications when required through PICC.
