Job summary

Medibank Private Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to deliver customer-facing digital experiences within Agile squads. You will translate customer, business and product needs into actionable requirements, user stories, and delivery outcomes to shape digital experiences across Medibank's customer channels.

This hands-on role drives business analysis activities from discovery through to implementation and release, collaborating with Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineers

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst delivering software and digital solutions.
• Demonstrated experience working within Agile delivery squads focused on customer-facing digital products.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business and technology teams.
• Experience delivering website, mobile app or digital self-service capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Design and Technology teams to shape and deliver customer-focused digital solutions.
• Facilitate discovery activities, workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to understand business and customer needs.
• Elicit, analyse and document business and system requirements for digital products and experiences.
• Break down initiatives into epics, features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning and ongoing delivery activities within Agile squads.
• Conduct customer journey mapping and touchpoint analysis to identify opportunities for improved customer experiences.
• Collaborate closely with UX, Engineering and Quality Assurance teams throughout delivery.
• Ensure requirements are traceable from discovery through design, build, testing and release.
• Perform impact assessments, dependency analysis and scope change management activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within both delivery teams and the Business Analysis Practice.
