Job summary

Key Assets Australia is seeking a Senior Practitioner (Domestic & Family Violence) to lead DFV program planning, coordination and service responses on Norfolk Island. You will deliver trauma-informed support to victim-survivors, children and families, while guiding staff and collaborating across teams.

The role requires post-qualification experience in child and family services with a DFV focus and the ability to work in a remote community context.

Qualifications

• Recognised Social Work or other relevant degree.
• Ability to tailor responses to a remote Norfolk Island context.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of DFV practice frameworks and service delivery models.
• Resilient with creative problem solving in limited resources.
• Experience in crisis response and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver DFV programs and service responses to meet varied needs.
• Provide expert DFV advice during consultations and stakeholder meetings.
• Supervise and coach staff delivering trauma-informed services.
• Work with team on duties under the Child Welfare Act 2009 (NI), including investigations.
