Job summary

Red Piranha Limited is seeking a System Administrator (Hybrid / DevOps) / Security Engineer to reinforce our security posture and cloud infrastructure. The role emphasizes DevOps practices, vulnerability management, and continuous improvement across our enterprise environment.

You will work on security architecture, automation, and project delivery, while collaborating with software teams to streamline workflows and containerization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT or equivalent
• Proven security engineering experience across enterprise infrastructure
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft 365 solutions
• Strong Linux experience
• Experience with VMware ESXi
• Familiarity with security frameworks and conditional access
• Solid networking knowledge and troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Support L2 external and L3 internal enterprise networks
• Perform vulnerability assessments and remediate security issues
• Design and implement security controls for software and infrastructure
• Design cloud/infrastructure ecosystems and secure Azure platforms
• Build security monitoring and automation using Azure, GitHub, Python, Bash, PowerShell, Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD
• Collaborate with software teams to streamline workflows and containerization (Kubernetes)
• Maintain accurate configuration documentation
• Travel may be required when needed
