Job summary

ASX Limited is seeking an Engineering Lead – Data & DevOps to lead data, platform engineering and DevSecOps across the Equities Trading Technology domain. You will establish scalable engineering practices, resilient data services, and automated deployment pipelines while ensuring regulatory, security and resilience obligations are met.

You will work with Product, Architecture, Cyber Security, Production Assurance, Delivery and Operations teams to deliver trusted market infrastructure and drive

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline.
• 10+ years experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE or data engineering roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and developing technical talent.
• Experience operating highly available and resilient technology platforms.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Data, Platform and DevOps engineers.
• Establish engineering standards, practices and roadmaps.
• Drive automation of deployment, testing, security controls and workflows.
• Ensure platforms meet availability, recoverability and security requirements.
• Contribute to domain technology strategy and target-state architecture.
• Engage with Product Owners, Architects, Delivery Leads and Risk stakeholders.
